Using Shoresh
These terms govern your use of Shoresh. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
Accounts
You must provide accurate account information and protect access to your account. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. Notify the Shoresh operator if you believe your account has been compromised.
Educational purpose
Shoresh provides vocabulary, study, and testing tools for educational use. Language data may contain mistakes or differences in spelling, vocalization, translation, grammar, register, or usage. Shoresh does not guarantee a particular learning result and should not be treated as professional translation advice.
Your content and suggestions
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You give Shoresh permission to store, process, display, and adapt that content as needed to provide and improve the service. Dictionary corrections and similar suggestions may be reviewed, modified, combined with other information, or declined.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Shoresh, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or overload the service, introduce malicious code, impersonate another person, violate applicable law, or submit content you do not have the right to use.
Service and third parties
Shoresh may depend on third-party services for authentication, hosting, databases, and email delivery. Those services may be unavailable or change over time. We may update, suspend, or discontinue portions of Shoresh and cannot promise uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Intellectual property
Except for user-provided content and third-party material, Shoresh and its software, design, branding, and original content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of Shoresh to you.
Account suspension or termination
We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect the service or its users, address unlawful or harmful conduct, or enforce these terms. You may stop using Shoresh at any time and may request account deletion through the support address published with the Shoresh Google sign-in application.
Disclaimers and limits
Shoresh is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, the Shoresh operator is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as Shoresh evolves. Continued use after updated terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. For questions, use the support email displayed for Shoresh in the Google sign-in consent experience.
